“ Cozy place, friendly staff and great service. The food was not great, very very salty and pasta was too al dente even in Italian standards. Also, in menu the coperto is 1,5 euro, but in the receipt it was 2 euros, be aware! ”

“ For our last night in Rome, we looked for some thing more traditional and the trattoria came through on all counts. We had a wonderful oxtail pasta and the Caldo Fredo pasta which were both cooked and seasoned to perfection. We also had the bruschetta antipasto, which was a wonderful surprise with plenty of grilled vegetables and perfect garlicky bread. The restaurant was very busy late night dining and did take some time to receive our food but was well worth the wait. The house wine - we got a red - was above expectations and truly delicious. The servers were absolutely wonderful and managed to balance a full restaurant with only two people serving and always showed up to the table with a positive attitude. Highly recommend. ”

We were lucky enough to have stumbled across this restaurant and managed to get the last table available before the reservations arrived. We ordered carbonara, lasagne and a tiramisu to share. We also got a bottle of pinot Grigio and 2 espressos, very reasonable for the portions and service received. I would recommend to anyone visiting Rome. Luckily for us, it was only a short walk from our hotel we were staying in. ”

The portions were massive and the quality of the food was excellent. Great value for the price. One of the best parts of the experience was the atmosphere. From our young friendly server to the nonna who cashed us out, it really felt like a family-run restaurant (though we’re not sure if it is). The only reason this isn’t a full 5-star review is that the carbonara was a bit too salty for our taste. But overall, a fantastic dining experience, and we’d definitely come back! ”
“ We took a chance and got the subway from our hotel in Monti to this restaurant despite having no reservation. The staff seated us quickly and we have no complaints! The food was incredible. To be fair, we didn’t come as hungry as we could have. And we didn’t get any wine. Here’s what we ordered: insalata rughetta e parmigiano gnocchi di patate pomodoro e basilico, and tagliata di filetto mele e patate. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and our servers were great.
